Maria's Breast Implant Story
This one is too
show how "wham bam", yes I have fake boobs you can make yourself
look. I only have 250cc's and with the right bra, I can make
some really great cleavage! Of course, this looks totally fake,
but sometimes this is the look I'm going for. So, just remember
you can ALWAYS make them look bigger when the need calls. More

| I chose this one
to show what they look like in a string bikini one-month post
op. The were still pretty high and quite a bit tight, but I was
able to go to the Bahamas and already look and feel pretty great.

This one shows
how really natural and un-huge they can also look. In, reality
they look completely normal on my body. Which I love because sometimes
you don't want the "wham bam" look. |

A favorite, the
white crochet bikini. I recommend white suits
for those of us who stay out of the sun and don't want to look
like ghosts. Stay away from black which makes you look ever whiter.

Rebecca's Breast Implant Story
I went shopping two weeks post.
Buying every little spaghetti strap, tank top and dress around.
Just because of the fact I didn't have to wear push up bras
anymore. Which I might add, is the best feeling in the world!
I feel whole now. The oddest thing about it all that shopping,
is that in all the credit cards that were passed around and
everything, I neglected to buy a new bikini! So, here
is a pic of my old thong bikini. I do fill it out tons better
now. Even seemed to lose about 8 lbs in the process of getting
my BA, woohoo! I think I'll buy a white bikini though, like
suggested. |

Shannon's Breast Implant Story
Breast
Augmentation performed by Dr. Pousti
I
have struggled with my breast size ever since I was little. I just
never developed. I put on weight, tried pills, and used birth control
to try to get myself to "fill out." About a month before
my 23rd birthday, I decided that this was the right time for me. I
did a lot of research and found Dr. Pousti by referral of this website.
I called and checked on his credentials, I read the testimonials on
his website, briefly looked around and read up on as much as I could
about the surgery, and decided to call for a consultation. I was nervous
and excited, but unsure if I could go through with it.
On
the day of my first consultation, I walked into this very relaxing
and beautifully decorated office. Dr. Pousti's staff immediately greeted
me. I was totally embarrassed to show Dr. Pousti my AA breasts, but
with Vanessa in the room to assist, he assured me that I would be
a perfect candidate. I was shown before and afters of other patients
and I was really impressed. I got to talk with other patients who
had just had the surgery a few months before. I was really surprised
when Dr. Pousti left the room so that I could ask anything that I
wanted. I remember Dr. Pousti coming back into the room and telling
me that I had no decisions to make that day and to come back and see
him as many times as I wanted. Knowing that plastic surgeons don't
make any money off of the office visits, I felt confident that this
was not a doctor that would just "push me through the system."
He was so caring and genuine that I knew in my heart that this was
the right doctor and I had no desire to see anyone else.
I
went back to see Dr. Pousti about 5 more times before my surgery to
bring in pictures and talk about what was going to happen. I wanted
to make sure he really understood what I wanted. He took the time
to go through all of my pictures and I felt strongly that we were
on the same page.
The
last week before the surgery was stressful. It wasn't that I doubted
having my breasts done, but rather the idea of surgery and going under.
His staff was wonderful!! I must have called twice everyday and talked
to Daisy. She was wonderful in calming my fears, even up until the
day of surgery.
I
had the surgery on Tuesday, December 9, 2003. I was so impressed by
the surgical center staff. They were so nice about everything and
really calmed all of my fears. I remember lying on the table with
the anethesia being put into me and seeing Dr. Pousti. The last thing
that I said to him was that I totally trusted him. I woke up and the
biggest problem was not the pain or discomfort, but the nausea. I
went home and was mostly out for that day. It was hard to get out
of bed, but it got easier each day. By Sunday, I didn't need any more
pain medication. I felt so much better. I was up and around writing
papers and studying for my finals, which I had the next week. Wednesday,
a week out of surgery, I went out with my friends dancing at in cahoots.
It was about 10 days post-surgery that I felt completely normal again.
My breasts were sore here and there, but I took Motrin and felt fine.
Looking
back on my experience, I am so happy that I did this. It was the right
time for me. I turned 23 the day before my surgery, I was graduating
college, and it was my Christmas present to myself. I realized that
you can't do a thing to change anything in your past, anything that's
happened up until today, but you can make the most of today forward.
I was determined to make the most of the rest of my 20's and beyond
because wherever you are in your life right now, you will never be
able to get this time back. You really can't put a price on your self-esteem.
I am one of the pickiest people and I never once doubted Dr. Pousti
or my decision to go with him. I tell everyone about Dr. Pousti. He
is the best!!!
