Dr. Hasen grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 1991, he earned two undergraduate degrees with highest distinction in Biology, Chemistry and Italian from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Dr. Hasen was elected to Phi Beta Kappa honor society after spending a year studying abroad in Italy at the Università di Bologna.

Dr. Hasen continued to excel in medical school at Cornell University in New York, New York. He was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and received his medical degree in 1995.

After medical school, Kent was accepted into an extremely competitive general surgery and plastic surgery integrated seven year residency program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. During his residency, Dr. Hasen won several prestigious awards for his presentations of his clinical research.

Dr. Hasen has been expertly trained in all areas of plastic and reconstructive surgery including cosmetic surgery, cancer reconstruction and congenital deformities. Kent's true passion is aesthetic surgery. After his residency, he completed the highly sought after aesthetic / cosmetic surgery fellowship with Drs. Thomas Baker, James Stuzin and Tracy Baker in Miami, Florida.

After his fellowship, Dr. Hasen opened a solo private practice concentrating on cosmetic surgery of the face and body in Naples, Florida in 2002. He and his wife celebrated the birth of their first child in March 2004.

As a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Hasen stays current with the latest, proven techniques in plastic surgery to help improve patient outcomes, minimize downtime and reduce the appearance of incisions or scars.
