Currently a member of the SC Society of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Kalus also served as the organization's president from 2003 to 2004. He is also an active member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Ram Kalus is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). This designation indicates that Dr. Kalus has had his surgical performance and academic credentials reviewed by his peer plastic surgeons and is competent to perform surgery. It also indicates that Ram Kalus has pledged to put the needs of his patients above his own. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) also recognizes Dr. Ram Kalus as pediatric specialist with a commitment to lifelong learning and advocacy for children.
