"Lots of experience (>700 BA's a year), gentle technique results in minimal pain and bruising, <1 inch incision, good results, friendly office staff, accomodating for out-of-town patients. My first and only consult was combined with my pre-op since I was an out-of-town patient. I thought the visit would last longer because many women have several pre-op visits, but everything took about an hour. I had done a lot of research, so I didn't have too many questions. He was professional but not particularly personable. I had to request to try on sizers. He usually does saline, unders, crease incision, which was what I wanted, but he didn't even really discuss the options with me. I know he will do silicone, but I don't know if he'll do overs and/or other incisions. My recovery was extremely fast. I got my procedure done on Friday morning, was out to eat with my friends Friday night and back to work on Monday. I had no bruising whatsoever. Dr. Ciaravino has a gentle way of performing his breast augmentation surgeries and I believe my brief recovery is a direct result of this.
Not only was I amazed with my recovery time, but more importantly I was utterly astounded by the results. My implants are perfect. Perfect. I can not stress that enough! They look (and feel) so exceptionally natural. And my incision scars (which Dr. Ciaravino makes virtually less than an inch) are almost invisible and fading more and more each day!
Another great aspect of having Dr. Ciaravino do my procedure is his incredible staff. On top of them all being exceptionally knowledgeable, each and every one of them are the sweetest people you will ever meet and do everything in their power to make you feel comfortable and will answer any question you throw at them. They make a spectacular team!

"I
am so glad you wrote to me about Dr. Ciaravino. I am a Nurse by profession,
and was totally impressed with both Dr. Ciaravino, and his staff.
Not only were they all very professional, they were extremely kind,
and even helped me get a discounted rate on a hotel nearby. I had
my first surgery done in 1997, and ended up with capsular contracture,
and two different sized breasts. It was REALLY painful, and I was
so bruised it looked like I had been in an accident. With Dr. Ciaravino,
the procedure was done at Bellaire Medical Center in Houston, the
anesthesiologists and other hospital staff were awesome, and I had
little to NO pain at all. This was amazing to me due to the first
experience, and the extreme level of pain that I had post-op. My recovery
after the first surgery was 4-6 weeks, (I'm not kidding) and after
my surgery with Dr. Ciaravino, I was up and walking around by myself
that afternoon RIGHT AFTER THE SURGERY!!!!! :) I couldn't believe
it!! I had to take Demerol, then Dilaudid for the first surgery, and
for the second surgery, I just took Vicodin-ES!!! So I wasn't a total
zombie for weeks!! I was fine that day!! He is really knowledgeable,
professional, extremely nice, and actually takes time to talk with
you, and be sure that you are completely comfortable with the procedure.
Another of his assets is Margie. I can't say enough nice things about
her!! I talked with her numerous times before and after my surgery,
and she really will bend over backwards to be sure that you get exactly
what you want, and was such a comfort to me. I, too, traveled to have
him do my surgery. I live in Austin, Texas which is 200 miles from
Houston. I researched tons of Doctors prior to deciding on Dr. Ciaravino.
I even called the Harris County District Clerk's office, and checked
to see if he had any pending litigation for malpractice...just to
give you an idea on how thorough my research was. Of course, he had
a perfect record!! I would recommend him very highly to you, and to
my family, and as a Nurse, that is the highest compliment that I can
give. I really know you will be happy with him, and that your surgery
