Tubular Breast Story

Hi to everyone on the forum! I only get to be on the computer kind of sporadically, but I really enjoy meeting everyone here. I picked a before picture, since what I will put on the Gallery Before and After will be my after picture.
     I had my BA on 2/24/00, going from a B to a D, but it was so much more than that. It was going from misshapen and abnormal to finally being just like everyone else. In junior high gym class I observed, to my horror, that I was the only girl who didn't have a nice, round shape, and instead was almost triangular. The result of that comparison was feelings of failure, shame and a sense of being cheated.
     It wasn't until an explanation from my PS about how and why my body formed the way it did, that I stopped taking my shape so personally, as a sense of failing. It was so liberating to realize I was simply following an inherited growth pattern.
     I had a small, pendulous (3+) breast with glandular circumferential contracture, there was a markedly fibrous band of tissue that allowed no expansion and causing 3+ tubular, my 'lovely' shape. In other words, the tight, fist-like breast material was bound together, the growth came down from it like a banana (tubular), instead of spread out (expanded) like a melon.
     I had radial incisions called a glandular or internal release, which will promote normal expansion (shape), if I ever have my implants removed. This was extremely and unbelievably painful, comparable to back labor. But in the end it was worth it all because I got to do what I always wanted to: what nature gypped me out of, I bought the biggest and best money could buy!
