Meet Torrance, California Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Verbin
The Medical Director, Christopher S. Verbin, MD is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery and licensed to practice in California since 1992. A South Bay native from Palos Verdes, Dr. Chris Verbin's unique interests led him to become a master restorer of vintage European sports cars, before transforming his talents on beautiful classic Italian coachworks to the aesthetics of the human face and body. He graduated cum laude with honors from UCLA and subsequently earned his medical degree from George Washington University. Dr. Verbin returned to the South Bay and completed his residency in general surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center . He subsequently trained in plastic surgery at the University of Southern California, where he studied under some of the most prominent cosmetic surgeons in Los Angeles.
He has performed over five thousand surgical procedures. He has had extensive experience and training in all facets of surgery, including trauma (where he served as Chief Resident at a busy trauma center), cardiac and vascular surgery, general surgery, endoscopic surgery, pediatric surgery, and of course, his focus, plastic surgery. Dr. Chris Verbin brings to his practices of cosmetic surgery a breadth of experience to render him a highly qualified and competent physician in all aspects of medical and surgical care. You rest in safe hands.
His passion lies in the aesthetic improvement and rejuvenation of
the face. Revolumizing areas of the face by vertical lifting and
micro-fat grafting transfer restore the curves and convexities of
youth. Combining these principles the the correctly tailored surgical
procedure for the face (e.g. S lift, MACS lift, face lift, neck
lift) focus on recreating a more youthful YOU, and not a surgically
drawn face that has been over-resected and hollowed.
Body work, as Dr. Verbin like to call it, uses similar principles to address breast and truncal issues. More and more, he uses vertical techniques to approach breast lifting and augmentation with limited scarring. Also, as bariatric surgical procedures become much more common place, Dr. Verbin focuses on a staged approach with outpatient surgeries focused on arms, breasts, and abdomen-flank-lateral thigh-buttock to medial thigh contouring.He speaks to a bariatric surgery patient group and provides plastic surgical consultation to a busy bariatric surgery group.
His goal is for YOU to look your best. Plastic surgery focuses on a natural rejuvenated look, not the common misconception of a surgically done appearance. Dr. Verbin is not happy unless YOU are.
