interviews, or doctor - patient consultations, last no more
than 30 minutes. During that time a tremendous amount of critical
information will be exchanged between you and your doctor. For
a variety of reasons, your ability to remember, recall and utilize
this information hours or days later is considerably diminished.
As a plastic surgeon that has conducted thousands of consultations
over the past thirteen years, it is my experience and point
of view that most patients DO NOT recall critical elements of
information gathered during the interview process. These videotaped
segments present accurate and reliable information that you
need to understand in order to make informed choices. You will
be able to review these tapes and this information as many times
as you need, and with whom you wish to, in the privacy of your
own home. |
