This 38 year old, 5' 5 ½ ", 125 pound female patient presented with asymmetrical breasts and tuberous breast deformity. A combination breast augmentation/breastlift was performed using McGhan style 68, size 200 round, saline breast implants. To balance the asymmetry, a Benelli (periareolar) breastlift was performed on only the right breast, different shape implants were used, and different levels of fill were added to the implants. On the right breast, a low-profile implant was used; on the left breast, a regular-profile implant was used. The right implant was filled to a level of 220 cc; the left breast was filled to a level of 240 cc. The placement of the breast implants was subpectoral (below the chest muscle). In the Benelli breastlift, the breastlift incision is around the areola (periareolar) making it relatively inconspicuous and there is no other incision on the skin of breast. Her pre-operative bra size was 34A; her post-operative bra size was 36B/34C. After surgery, her breasts were symmetrical. The after photographs were taken 13 months after her surgery.

This 29 year old, 5' 10" female patient presented for abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and mastopexy (breastlift) after a 70 pound weight loss. At the time of her surgery, her weight was 190, down from a maximum weight of 260 pounds. She had 3 pregnancies, and delivered 1 child. Before surgery, she had marked laxity of abdominal skin and muscles; the abdominal skin was stretched out and musculature was weak. She had pronounced stretch marks around the abdomen (more visible on the side view). Her breasts were sagging (ptotic). Dr. Zevon performed a Lejour (vertical) type mastopexy and abdominoplasty. After surgery, the shape of her breasts and abdomen are improved. The orientation and position of the areola on the breast is changed, with the nipple/areola pointing directly out, not down. The appearance of the belly button (umbilicus) is improved. Her bra size before surgery was 36 DD; after surgery, her bra size was 36D. Overall, her body contour is more aesthetic. The after photographs were taken 15 months after her surgery.

This 35 year old, 5' 6", 176 pound African-American female patient presented with bilateral mammary sagging (ptosis). An inverted-T mastopexy (breastlift) was performed. In an inverted-T mastopexy, the incisions are around the areola, continuing down vertically on the skin of the breast and into the inframammary crease (the crease below the breast.) After surgery, the breast width is narrowed and the position of the areola on the breast is more aesthetic, pointing directly outward not downward. The after photographs were taken 7 weeks after her surgery.
